When will I get my nail polish?
As a subscription service, we ship once per month. Members typically receive their boxes around the 15th of every month.
For example: If you order in January, your first box will ship in February. Likewise, if you order in February, your first box will ship in March, and so on…
If you purchase items from The Vault together with a subscription, The Vault items will ship with your next scheduled subscription box.
Vault items purchased separately ship in 1-2 days.
How do you pick your nail polish colors?
Current season and fashion/color trends are the biggest factors when choosing our colors. Every month we narrow down all the color possibilities to 3 candidates, then invite our staff to vote. If there is ever a tie, anything goes: thumb wrestling, name-calling, we will do whatever it takes to make sure you get beautiful nail polish colors every month!
I get my nails done at a salon. Why do I need this?
Many salons allow you to bring your own nail polish! Wouldn’t you feel better knowing the polish you are wearing has never touched someone else’s feet? Icky… Also, using your own nail polish at the salon allows you to do touch-ups at home if needed.
What size are your nail polish bottles?
16.5mL / 0.56 fl. oz. full size bottles.
Can I track my package?
In an effort to keep costs low and pass the savings on to you, we do not offer the option of tracking packages at this time.
I didn't get my polish! What do I do?
We hope this never happens but if it does, please contact us and we will send you a replacement immediately.
Does your nail polish contain animal products? / Is it tested on animals?
Absolutely not. We are animal lovers. Meet our precious kitten, Button (well, she’s outgrown the “kitten” stage but she will always be our little kitten!). We are passionate about our stance against animal testing and make every attempt to do business with vendors that feel the same way.
I've heard that many nail polishes contain toxic chemicals...
We’ve gone to great lengths to secure written statements and material safety data sheets from our laboratory to assure us that no toxic chemicals are used in our nail polish formula. Our nail polish is free of toluene, formaldehyde/formaldehyde resin, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), camphor, and TPHP. Color Me Monthly is dedicated to delivering what we believe is one of the ‘cleanest’ and most eco-friendly nail polishes on the market.
We love animals, trees, and toxin-free nail polish (and italian food, and good wine, oops…).
Do you charge sales tax?
We are required by state law to collect sales tax in Maryland. If your shipping address is outside of Maryland, you will not be charged sales tax.
What if I don't like a particular color?
We understand that you may not LOVE every color, but consider this… When you go to the store to buy nail polish, you tend to stick with “safe” colors. After driving to the store and pacing up and down the nail polish aisle for 30-minutes, the last thing on your mind is to be adventurous with something new and funky-fresh!
Your CMM subscription is your passport to adventure! It’s a great way to try a color that you previously thought you wouldn’t like. Give it time to grow on you. Rest assured, that if you’re still not satisfied with your overall experience, you can cancel at anytime.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel your subscription at anytime for any reason.
To cancel your subscription, click on the My Account tab, login to your account, then click the Cancel link next to your subscription.  That’s it.

Why is my card being declined?
Unfortunately, we do not get specific details as to why a charge is declined. Your card issuing bank has automated systems that determine whether or not to accept a charge. These systems may take into account your previous spending habits, account balance, and recent activity.  For instance, if you don’t typically purchase items online, your bank may decline the charge and place your card ‘on-hold’ as a precaution. The best course of action is to call the card issuing bank to resolve the matter. In most cases, once you clear up the issue with the bank, your card will be approved when you try again.
